July 2012 Class Glass Racing set a new landspeed record in H / Blown Gas Modified Roadster of 142.633 mph at the ECTA meet in Willmington, Ohio. This was the final run with the Yamaha FJ1200 engine.
We are currently rebuilding the car to move up in class to F / Blown Gas Modified Roadster. We streched the wheel base out to 145 inches, narrowed the front axle and lowered the car 7 inches. The new power plant will be a Ford 2.3L turbo charge, fuel injected 4 cylinder. We expect to be at the April meet in Ohio.
